The Minnesota Threshold Network is sponsoring a showing of Departures, the Academy Award-winning best foreign film. It tells the entertaining and inspiring story of a young man who stumbles into a line of work where he learns a sacred approach to caring for those who have died.

When: Friday, February 12, 2010, 7 pm

Where: First Universalist Church, 3400 Dupont Ave. South, Minneapolis

Special appearance by Representative Carolyn Laine, co-sponsor of legislation that supports the rights of Minnesota families to care for their own at the time of death, and Kim Pilgrim of the Minnesota Threshold Network. They will discuss and answer questions about problems with the current law, how we can fix them, and two quick things you can do to help!
