Twin Cities Meeting May 10: The Arts of Death

Coffin shown in PASSING THROUGH OUR HANDS
Family-directed after-death care offers us the chance to create personalized and deeply meaningful observances for our loved ones who have died. But the idea of creating those observances from the ground up can feel daunting. Through the creation of poetry, music, and visual art, we will explore options for including art in our vigils and funerals and expand our ceremony-creation tool kit.
May 10, 2016, 7pm, at the home Marianne and Dennis Dietzel, 2954 Hamline Ave., Roseville, MN, 651-633-0432. One mile north Hwy. 36. It’s the house on the right with the orange flag on the mailbox.
