MTN APRIL 2021 MEETING:   Conserving Land through Natural Burial: Making it Happen in the Twin Cities

TUESDAY APRIL 20, 2021   7 – 8:30 PM Central Time  (ZOOM invite below description)

Leaders of the Land Conservation and Natural Burial Project (LCNB) will share information about a unique form of natural burial that permanently protects land through partnership with a conservation organization. LCNB is actively exploring such a burial area in the East Metro. We will:

  • share photos and stories from conservation burial areas across the country
  • present findings from our recent archeological survey of site under consideration
  • and discuss ways that you can engage in this movement to educate and develop natural burial areas that connect people to the land in meaningful ways.

Presenters: Paul Sommers and Anne Archbold, local Twin Cities leaders in this movement

“There’s no better way to connect people to the land than to bury them in it.”  -Joe Sehee, founder of Green Burial Council

MTN is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting (Linda Bergh  Host).
